Una aproximación al estado ambiental de carácter integrado de las playas turísticas del Caribe Medio Colombiano

Abstract

Por su situación geográfica y desarrollo turístico cultural Colombia presenta una interesante oferta turística de productos tanto de carácter cultural como de naturaleza. En el caso del Caribe medio colombiano, además de otros productos destaca el de “sol, playa y naturaleza”, sin embargo por diversas circunstancias internas y externas presentan problemas en los elementos del sistema turístico y en los aspectos generales o básicos dada la transversalidad del turismo. Al respecto, analizamos de manera integrada aquellas problemáticas que presentan desde la perspectiva ambiental tres áreas turísticas como son: Santa Marta, Cartagena y Golfo de Morrosquillo.

For his geographical situation and tourist cultural development Colombia presents an interesting tourist offer of products both of cultural character and of nature. In case of the a Colombian Caribbean, besides other products stands out that of "Sun, beach and nature ", nevertheless for diverse internal and external circumstances they present problems in the elements of the tourist system and in the general or basic aspects given the mainstreaming of the tourism. In the matter, we analyze in an integrated way problematic those who present from the environmental perspective three tourist areas since are: Santa Marta, Cartagena and Gulf of Morrosquillo.
