Propuestas para la dinamización turística y ordenación de los usos recreativos en el Parque Natural de las Lagunas de la Mata-Torrevieja (Alicante)

Abstract

En esta comunicación se propone una metodología para la planificación turística de los espacios naturales que contemple propuestas para incrementar el uso turístico del espacio, basadas en la estructuración de productos turísticos novedosos, en consonancia con la zonificación de usos y actividades que establecen los instrumentos de planificación ambiental. Aunque se toma como referencia la investigación realizada sobre un espacio natural concreto (el Parque Natural de las Lagunas de la Mata- Torrevieja), el objetivo perseguido es ofrecer una metodología de trabajo útil para la dinamización turística de otros espacios naturales de la Comunitat Valenciana. En el estudio realizado para la dinamización turística del espacio, las propuestas se articulan en base a los valores naturales y culturales propios del espacio natural y tomando como herramienta clave de gestión la interpretación del patrimonio.

In the present paper, it is highlighted a methodology for the tourism planning of natural areas with the aim to increase the tourist activity in the area through the creation of new tourist products but having into consideration the environment preservation according to the policy and tools of the protected natural areas. Taking into consideration the research of a particular natural area (La Mata-Torrevieja Nature Reserve), the aim is to create a methodology that could be applied for the tourist revitalization of other natural areas of the Valencian Community. In the research, the main proposals are based on the natural and cultural values of the natural area with the heritage interpretation as the key tool to be considered for its management.
