Federal o Unitaria. Propaganda y debate en los orígenes de la Prensa Republicana (Alicante, 1868-1870)

Abstract

Centrando nuestro análisis en la prensa republicana de Alicante, hemos podido comprobar que, desde la organización del Partido Republicano en 1868, existe un claro pluralismo ideológico y programático representado en una doble concepción de la República -unitaria o federal- y de la política social republicana. Las discrepancias tendrán su primer reflejo en el debato periodístico para cristalizar finalmente en corrientes de opinión cohesionadas organizativa e ideológicamente. que están en la base de la ruptura y escisión republicana en 1873.

Centtring our analisys in the Republican press of Alicante, we have found out that, since the foundation of the Republican Party in 1868, a olear Ideological pluralism exisis and it is reflected upan in the dualism about the Republic -unitarian or federal- and the Republican social politics. Tire disagreements are present in the journalistic disuasión to finally crystallize in trends of cohesioned opinions abour the organi¬zation and kleology, which are the base of the hreaking and the split of the Republican Party in 1873.
