| Abstract: | Transmission electron microscopy studies have shown that spermatozoa with tapered head have a membranous system between post-acrosomal zone and post-nuclear region. Moreover a high proportion of tapered head sperm had cytoplasmatic dropet and their acrosomal regionsare reduced or absent. Nucleolus elongation can produce DNA damage and connecting piece damage. The aim of this study was to analyzethe morphology sperm and describe the changes in the lectin sataining patternson the sperm plasma membrane of uncapacited and capacited human sperm. |
