| Dry stone walling is a characteristic element of the Mediterranean landscape. In the case of the southern region of the Valencian Community, this ethnographic testimony, present practically throughout the whole area, has never been studied in depth nor widely promoted. It should be noted, however, that as a result of studies, including inventory, cataloguing and protection, it is now essential to value and promote this heritage. The following article proposes the introduction of new technologies to analyse these structures from a different point of view, so as to bring about a change in the existing classical vision of dry stone walling by implementing both new parameters and methods of interpretation. |
