Abstract: 
La provincia de Ciudad-Real, perteneciente a la Comunidad Autónoma de Castilla-La Mancha, es un complejo y variado territorio que alberga
humedales de muy diversa tipología. En este artículo pasaremos revista a este tipo de ecosistemas tan peculiares, donde sobreviven aún
muchas especies de fauna y flora de interés conservacionista. Muchos de estos lugares están protegidos con diversas figuras (parques
nacionales, parques naturales, microrreservas, reservas de la biosfera,...), otros sin embargo aún no lo están, pero por los hábitat que
contienen se consideran lugares de interés comunitario, estando por tanto incluidos en la RED NATURA 2000. Además de realizar una
somera descripción de cada uno de ellos, revisaremos también en este artículo los principales problemas ambientales que los afectan.
Ciudad-Real province, belonging to Castilla-La Mancha Autonomous Community, is a complex territory with a huge variety of aspects; it home
to many different wetlands. Throughout this article, we are going to show how this particular ecosystem is, with its special characteristics; it
is a place where many species of fauna and flora that have to be conserved are still surviving.
Many of these places are protected with different labels (National Parks, Natural Parks, Micro-reserves, Reserves of the Biosphere...);
nevertheless, others aren't yet, although the habitats with interest for the community, and area consequently included in the NET NATURA
2000.
As well as doing a general description of each one of them, in this article we will also look through the main environmental problems which
they are suffering.
