Contra les lectures obligatòries: assaboreix-les!

Abstract: 
El 90% de les programacions didàctiques dels departaments de llengües dels centres de Secundària i Batxillerat a Espanya estableixen la lectura obligatòria en l’avaluació de la matèria. Llegir esdevé condició sine qua non per a obtindre’n l’aprovat; en més del 70% dels casos, el mecanisme d’avaluació és el «control de lectura» i l’estudiant, senzillament, ha de fer veure que ha llegit l’obra prescrita. Contra l’obligatorietat, proposem l’experimentació lectora. És a dir, apostem per una lectura significativa, una lectura viscuda i participada; una lectura que permeta obrir les portes del coneixement i que descorde el plaer del descobriment. Amb aquesta perspectiva, l’experiència que proposem passa per viure la lectura, fer-la nostra, experimentar-la i, fins i tot, projectar les intel·ligències múltiples des del llibre mateix.
90% of the language department syllabus in Spanish Secondary and High schools take compulsory reading into account in the evaluation of the subject. Reading becomes a sine qua non for students to pass the course; in more than 70% of the cases, the mechanism of evaluation is the «control of reading» and students just have to show that they have read the demanded work. On the contrary, we will bet for a significant reading, a lived and participated reading; a reading which will open the gateway to knowledge or which will evoke the pleasure of discovery. With these considerations in mind, the experience we propose includes: to live reading, to make it our own, to experience it and to project multiple intelligences from the book itself.
