Abstract: 
La Ley 12/2011, de 27 de mayo, sobre responsabilidad civil por daños nucleares o producidos por materiales radiactivos ha derogado los artículos que regulaban tal materia en la Ley 25/1964, de 29 de abril, de Energía Nuclear con el fin de adaptar la normativa española a los cambios sufridos en 2004 por los Convenios de París y de Bruselas, de 1960 y 1963 respectivamente, sobre responsabilidad civil por daños nucleares. El presente trabajo se centra en el análisis del Título II de la Ley 12/2011, que trata de forma específica los daños derivados del manejo y transporte de materiales radiactivos que no sean sustancias nucleares, con el fin de exponer, de manera panorámica, el régimen jurídico de responsabilidad frente a terceros, sin perder de vista los cambios sufridos en relación con la legislación anterior.
Law 12/2011, May 27, on civil liability for nuclear damage or produced by radioactive materials has repealed articles that dealt with such topic in the Law 25/1964, of April 29, of nuclear energy in order to adapt the Spanish regulation to the changes suffered in 2004 by the Conventions of Paris and Brussels, 1960 and 1963 respectively, on civil liability for nuclear damage. This work focuses on the analysis of Title II of the Law 12/2011, which specifically addresses the damage resulting from the handling and transport of radioactive materials that are not nuclear substances, in order to expose a panoramic overview of the legal regime of responsibility vis-à-vis third parties, without losing sight of the changes suffered in connection with the previous legislation.
