Abstract: 
Este texto transita los caminos emprendidos por ciudadanos anónimos que participan en el desarrollo de Centros Socioculturales Independientes. En concreto se observan, desde una óptica arquitectónica, aquellas iniciativas que se instalan en edificios públicos y vacíos ubicados en el centro histórico de Madrid y Málaga. La acción es por tanto un acto político que apuesta por un nuevo modelo de gestión del dominio público pero también constituye una forma de velar por la salud física, ambiental y social de un fragmento especialmente sensible de estas ciudades. El objetivo es analizar el fenómeno a través de dos casos. La intención es dilucidar el papel del arquitecto en un modo de hacer indeterminista y participativo que está demostrando ser altamente eficaz a nivel material y emocional lo que puede ofrecer pistas sobre la actual redefinición de la disciplina: del que gobierna la obra (αρχι τεκτωυ) a mediador entre expectativas y realidad.
This research looks at the paths undertaken by anonymous citizens that take part in the development of Independent Cultural Centers. Especifically, we study, from the architectural point of view, those that are installed in public empty buidings located in historical city centers from towns like Madrid or Málaga. Therefore the action is a political act that is committed to a model of participatory management in public domain but also is a way of ensuring the physical, environmental and social health of a very sensitive fragment of these towns. The aim is to analyze the phenomenon looking at two cases, with the intention to clarify the architect role in a participatory and indeterministic way of doing, that is proving to be highly effective at material and emotional levels, whatever it can show us leads about the redefinition of the profession: from conductor to mediator between expectation and reality.
