This scenario has prompted that the deployed data warehouse often fails in delivering the expected support of the decision making process. To overcome this problem, we propose to use the i* framework for modeling goals and requirements within our model driven architecture (MDA) approach for the development of data warehouses. Our current and short term research also includes the reconciliation between information requirements and data sources, and the modeling of quality-of-service requirements (e.g., security). Finally, an Eclipse-based tool is being implemented as a proof of concept of our research. Keywords:Data warehouse, i* framework, MDA RWTH Aachen University info:eu-repo/semantics/conferenceObject
