La producción científica en ficción televisiva: una metainvestigación del fenómeno global y la producción española

Abstract: 
El presente trabajo aborda una metainvestigación sobre la producción científica sobre ficción televisiva en comunicación. Mediante una metodología mixta que combina la revisión sistemática y el análisis de contenido, se realiza un estudio genuino cuyo objetivo es abordar las investigaciones de ficción televisiva indexadas en Scopus, desde el primer trabajo registrado hasta el año 2021, en una doble vertiente que diferencia entre la producción global y la producción específica sobre contenido español. La muestra se compone de 466 trabajos indexados sobre ficción televisiva en general y 85 cuyo objeto de estudio es la ficción española. Los resultados revelan el asentamiento y consolidación de la disciplina a todos los niveles, en especial, en lo que al objeto de estudio español se refiere. Las conclusiones reflexionan sobre el creciente interés y especialización investigadora en consonancia con el auge de la industria de la ficción televisiva.
The present work deals with a meta-research on the scientific production on television fiction in communication. Through a mixed methodology that combines systematic review and content analysis, a genuine study is carried out with the aim of addressing television fiction research indexed in Scopus, from the first work registered until 2021, differentiating between global production and specific production on television Spanish content. The sample is made up of 466 indexed works on television fiction in general and 85 whose object of study is Spanish fiction. The results reveal a settlement and consolidation of the discipline at all levels, especially as far as the Spanish object of study is concerned. Conclusions reflect on the growing research interest and specialization in line with the rise of the television fiction industry.
