Abstract: 
La serra Gelada, o penyes de l’Albir en el seu vessant marítim, és una eminència rocosa en la costa de la Marina Baixa entre l’Alfàs del Pi i Benidorm. Els valors geomorfològics, històrics i culturals de l’entorn tenen un reflex directe en una toponímia molt rica que diversos treballs han arreplegat i que s’amplia amb noves aportacions. A més, la desaparició dels antics usuaris i els canvis en l’activitat econòmica provoquen que una bona part del repertori onomàstic de la serra pugui desaparèixer en un termini breu si no se’n deixa constància escrita i gràfica.
The serra Gelada, or Penyes de l’Albir on its sea-facing slopes, is a rocky outcrop on the coast of the Marina Baixa between Alfàs del Pi and Benidorm. The geomorphological, historical and cultural value of the area is directly captured in its rich toponymy, collected in various works and expanded in a number of more recent contributions. However, the disappearance of the users of these place names and changes in the economic activity of this coastal area mean that much of the Serra’s onomastic repertoire is likely to disappear if written and graphic records are not kept.
