El reformismo argelino en Gardaya: la labor socioeducativa del šayj al-Ajḍar al-Dahma

Abstract: 
El presente artículo pretende aportar datos sobre el reformismo intelectual en el desierto argelino. Se centra en la labor socioeducativa del erudito šayj al-Ajḍar Al-Dahma, discípulo del gran intérprete del Corán al-Ṭāhir Ben ‘Āšūr. Partiendo de los datos biográficos del personaje, se estudia su formación y su relación con los grandes reformistas argelinos, tales ‘Abd al-Ḥamīd Ibn Bādīs y al-Bašīr al-Ibrāhīmī. De igual modo, teniendo en cuenta su obra y actividad, se estudia el papel socioeducativo de al-Ajḍar al-Dahma en la población de la ciudad meridional de Gardaya y su labor cultural.
This article aims to provide data on Algerian reformism. It focuses on the socio-educational work of the Algerian scholar al-Shaykh al-Akhḍar al-Dahma, a disciple of the great interpreter of the Quran al-Shaykh al-Ṭāhir Ben ‘Āshūr. Starting from the biographical data of the scholar, his training and relationship with the great Algerian reformers — such as ‘Abd al-Ḥamīd Ibn Bādīs and al-Bashīr al-Ibrāhīmī— we describe his career. At the same time, attending his works and activities, we study the socio-educational role of al-Shaykh al-Akhdar al-Dahma in city of Ghardaïa and his cultural commitments.
