Abstract: 
En este artículo se analiza la novela Días laborables (2018) del poeta y narrador peruano Diego Otero para trazar una relación intertextual con la poética del narrador uruguayo Mario Levrero. Mediante el análisis de las estrategias narrativas de Otero, se postula que su novela sigue mecanismos centrífugos de distracción, dilación o digresión que interrumpen el hilo lineal de la narración y la plantilla de (sub)género –la novela policiaca, el thriller– para dar cabida a las emanaciones del inconsciente. Al mismo tiempo, se valora que la ética creadora de Levrero es objeto de la admiración y la emulación de Otero, tal como el escritor limeño revela en una entrevista (aún inédita) aquí presentada. Finalmente, se concluye que el parentesco entre Otero y Levrero los sitúa a ambos fuera de los ámbitos del mercado y la academia, y dentro de lo que Damián Tabarovsky llamó ‘literatura de izquierda’.
This article analyzes the novel Días laborables (2018) by the Peruvian poet and storyteller Diego Otero to trace an intertextual relationship with the poetics of the Uruguayan storyteller Mario Levrero. Through the analysis of Otero’s narrative strategies, it is postulated that his novel follows centrifugal mechanisms of distraction, procrastination or digression that interrupt the linear thread of the narrative and the template of (sub) genre –the crime novel, the thriller– to give room for emanations from the unconscious. At the same time, it is appreciated that Levrero’s creative ethic is the object of admiration and emulation by Otero, as the Lima writer reveals in an interview (still unpublished) presented here. Finally, it is concluded that the kinship between Otero and Levrero places them both outside the realms of the market and academia, and within what Damián Tabarovsky called ‘left-wing literature’.
