Abstract: 
Aquest article fa una aproximació al paper polític que van jugar els batlles generals dellà Xixona durant les últimes dècades medievals, més enllà de les funcions pròpies del seu càrrec. Per a això, se centra en les accions d’aquests oficials durant les bandositats que tingueren lloc durant la segona meitat del segle XV, així com en els intents de pacificació i control polític del territori.
This article is an approach to the political role of the batlles dellà Xixona in the late Middle Ages beyond the ordinary obligations of their position. So it focuses on the actions of these officers during the noble conflicts that took place in the second half of the 15th century south of the Kingdom of Valencia, as well as attempts to pacify the pacification and political control of the territory.
