Youtubers en llengua catalana: estudi quantitatiu i qualitatiu

Abstract

Amb l’arribada d’Internet hem vist nàixer una nova tipologia de creadors de continguts a les xarxes socials. Aquest article posa el focus en els youtubers que es comuniquen en llengua catalana a través de la plataforma de vídeos de YouTube. A continuació, es presenta un estudi quantitatiu d’aquests nous creadors de continguts audiovisuals. Al llarg del treball s’hi descriu quants en són, què fan, amb quin nombre de seguidors compten i a quines temàtiques dediquen els seus canals. De més a més, els hi classifica en termes d’influència a la xarxa. Per últim, s’hi para atenció a aquells canals de youtubers amb més seguidors i visualitzacions de vídeos: els canals de Miquel Montoro, Recomanacions de Llibres, Pot de Plom, o Miss Tagless.

With the arrival of the Internet a new class of content creators has been born on social media. In this article we will treat the youtubers who are communicating in Catalan language on the YouTube video platform. Next, we present the quantitative study of these new creators in Catalan. We’ll see how many they are, what they do, what number of followers they have and what theme they devote to their spaces. We will review the classification of these youtubers in terms of influence in this platform. Lastly, we pay attention to those channels of youtubers with more followers and video views. We advance that the creators with more visibility and followers are the channels of Miquel Montoro, Recomanacions de Llibres, Pot de Plom, or Miss Tagless.
