Abstract: | Communicating science and technology through online video refleja el estudio de reconocidos investigadores del panorama nacional e internacional, donde se muestran los resultados de un proyecto que gira en torno al periodismo científico y el uso del vídeo online para la difusión de sus contenidos. El libro se estructura en 10 capítulos y un necesario anexo donde se describe la metodología empleada. De ahí que, para entender adecuadamente el rol de cada uno de los capítulos, se requiere acudir en primer lugar al anexo. Los investigadores de Communicating science and technology through online video han realizado a una extensa revisión bibliográfica, el uso de la entrevista en profundidad y el análisis de contenido. En total han trabajado con más de 500 artículos y referencias a libros, se han analizado 826 vídeos y se han llevado a cabo 9 entrevistas. | Communicating science and technology through online video reflects the study of renowned researchers from the national and international scene, where the results of a project that revolves around scientific journalism and the use of online video for the dissemination of its contents are shown. The book is structured in 10 chapters and a necessary annex describing the methodology used. Hence, to properly understand the role of each of the chapters, it is necessary to go to the annex in the first place. The researchers of Communicating science and technology through online video have made an extensive literature review, the use of in-depth interviews and content analysis. In total they have worked with more than 500 articles and references to books, 826 videos have been analyzed and 9 interviews have been carried out. |
