Abstract: The study of the graphic domain in its orthographical aspect as well as in its relationship with phonic phenomena is a Consolidated chapter in linguistics thanks to the normative linguistic tradition and the special development carried out in philological studies. This article abtempts to treat the graphic problem from a textual point of view, of a programatic and interdisciplinary nature. In this way, I conceive the textual domain as included within reflexive linguistic knowledge, which is explained in this article as textual metalinguistic consciousness that allows in the case of graphic problems to postulate the notion of text as idea (ideation) of book (literary work), historically variable image from the study of which one can obtain important suggestions in order to enrich the setting up of a text typology.
