El Llibre de cançons, un cançoner cinccentista desconegut

Abstract

Aquest treball estudia i edita un cançoner d’autor, anònim, escrit a mitjan segle XVI i conservat fragmentàriament. De les cent vuitanta composicions que havia contingut inicialment ara només se’n conserven cent: noranta-vuit en català i dues (els números 23 i 24) en castellà. Totes eren desconegudes, encara que una (núm. 21) recrea uns versos que devien ser tradicionals, ja que apareixen amb poca variació en una composició del cançoner Flor de enamorados, de Joan Timoneda. A pesar dels defectes mètrics i estròfics i la reiteració dels tòpics de la poesia de cançoner, en aquest recull també trobem temes nous i un lèxic i una sintaxi populars que el fan interessant.

This work studies and publishes a hitherto unknown songbook of a single author, written in the mid-Sixteenth century and preserved fragmentarily. It is anonymous. It contains the only 100 compositions that we conserve from the 180 original ones: 98 compositions are in Catalan and 2 in Spanish (num. 23 and 24). All of them were unkonwn and only one (num. 21) copies verses that were probably traditional, because they appear with small variations in the songbook Flor de enamorados by Joan Timoneda. Despite the metric and strophic imperfections and the reiteration of the common places of the cancioneril poetry, there are also new themes and a popular lexicon and syntax that make it interesting.
