Laboratory manual for practical Plant Biodiversity

Abstract

Plant Biodiversity is a subject taught during the second year of the degree in Biology at the University of Alicante. The main principles and theories about the diversity and morphology of plants are mostly given during the theoretical classes. This practical manual and the laboratory sessions give the opportunity to see and observe the morphological features of the algae, bryophytes, ferns and plants in practice. Their morphological study allows students to identify the genus and species of each specimen properly.
