Sobre el desistimiento del derecho de retirada de la UE: análisis de la sentencia del TJUE asunto C-621/18

Abstract

Con este trabajo se pretende informar del estado actual del procedimiento del Brexit y de la solicitud de intervención del TJUE para interpretar un artículo del TUE, en concreto el artículo 50. Se pretende exponer las consecuencias que la retirada por decisión unilateral de un Estado miembro de la Unión puede causar en ese propio Estado y en el resto de Estados miembros tanto a nivel económico, como jurídico o social por ejemplo. Nos vamos a detener en el caso concreto de nuestra Comunidad presentando las consecuencias negativas que el Brexit traerá a nuestra economía y la posible bajada de turismo británico y de residentes británicos en la misma.

This paper aims to inform about the current status of the Brexit procedure and the CJEU request for intervention to interpret an article of the TEU, specifically article 50. It is intended to expose the consequences that the withdrawal by unilateral decision of a Member State of the Union may cause in that State and in the rest of the Member States, both economically, legally and socially, for example. We are going to stop in the concrete case of our Community presenting the negative consequences that the Brexit with bring to our economy and the possible reduction of British tourism and of British residents in it.
