Un pliego de romances perdido

Abstract

El impresor antuerpiense Martín Nucio usó un pliego poético impreso en dos ediciones de 1546. Este pliego está perdido, pero hay huella de él en tres ediciones posteriores. En este trabajo se delimita la relación de estos impresos tardíos con el pliego perdido y se reconstruyen sus datos editoriales. Para ello, se estudia la filiación textual e iconográfica de los poemas y de los impresos conservados, así como los usos editoriales de la imprenta que imprimió el pliego perdido. Asimismo, se estudian las fuentes de este género poético en las ediciones de Martín Nucio y se atiende a su estancia de formación en España.

The Antwerp printer Martín Nucio used a poetic printed sheet in two editions of 1546. This edition is lost, but there is a trace of it in three later poetics sheets. In this paper, the relationship of these late prints with the lost sheet is delimited and their editorial data is reconstructed. For this, the textual and iconographic affiliation of the poems and the preserved prints are studied, as well as the editorial uses of the printing press that printed the lost sheet. Likewise, the sources of this poetic genre in the editions of Martín Nucio are studied and attention is paid to his training stay in Spain.
