Crisis, globalidad y migraciones: perspectivas de los nuevos tiempos

Abstract

La actual crisis mundial y lo que este hecho representa para el fenómeno de las migraciones es el objeto principal de análisis del presente artículo. A través de los temas principales que conforman el título: crisis, globalidad y migraciones, y de los subtemas: integración social, interculturalidad y medios de comunicación, se pretende echar un vistazo a los elementos, causas y circunstancias que han determinado la actual crisis económica y de valores, y su influencia en el fenómeno migratorio, como uno de los factores más relevantes de la movilidad humana de nuestro tiempo. Todo ello planteado desde una perspectiva analítica y reflexiva llena de propuestas y críticas variadas. El panorama final que resulta de los temas tratados tiene un hilo conductor común, cual es el cambio que se ha producido en el mundo en materia de movilidad humana y también en el comportamiento político y social producto del nuevo orden global.

The current global crisis and what this represents for the phenomenon of migration is the main object of analysis of this article. Through the principle topics that make up the title -crisis, globality, and migration- as well as the sub-themes -social integration, interculturalism, and the media- the author looks at the elements, causes, and circumstances that have shaped the current crisis, in terms of both economics and values, including the influence these, as the most important factors in human mobility of our time, have on the phenomenon of migration. All of this is considered from an analytical and reflective perspective, replete with varied proposals and criticisms. There is a common thread in the final outlook of the topics covered, which is the change that has occurred in the world with regard to human mobility, as well as in political and social behavior, all of which is a product of the new global order.
