Verbos de percepción sensorial en español: una clasificación cognitiva

Abstract

El propósito del presente trabajo es explicar cuáles son los verbos de percepción sensorial prototípicos en español, cuáles son sus características fundamentales y qué relaciones mantienen entre sí. A partir de los postulados de la Gramática Cognitiva, pretendemos mostrar que el comportamiento gramatical de estos verbos y la jerarquía que se establece entre ellos reflejan parcialmente el funcionamiento en el mundo real de los distintos sentidos y su importancia cultural y biológica.

The aims of this article are to establish a classification of Spanish physical perception verbs, to determine their main features, and finally to specify the relationships between them. From a Cognitive perspective, it is shown that the grammatical behaviour of these verbs are a reflection of different sensorial abilities and their hierarchical structure; further, it can be said that the function of these verbs are crucially determined cultural and biologically.
