«Yo digo poema porque no puedo pronunciar la r». La potencia-de-no en Notas para un seminario sobre Foucault de Mario Montalbetti

Abstract

El concepto de potencia-de-no de Giorgio Agamben propone que todo acto de creación no solamente resiste, sino que también se opone a la expresión en el sentido que detiene su movimiento hacia el acto y conserva su potencia. Por lo tanto, en este trabajo pretendo explicar a través de este concepto cómo se construye el lugar del poema en el libro Notas para un seminario sobre Foucault (2018) del poeta peruano Mario Montalbetti. Al establecer esta construcción es posible leer la negatividad del poemario como una suspensión y exposición del lenguaje mismo que se representan a través de los rasgos textuales. En consecuencia, Notas dice lo que no hace, haciendo lo que no dice. Y así, el lugar del poema está en su propia negación.

Giorgio Agamben’s concept of potency-of-not proposes that every act of creation not only resists, but also opposes expression in the sense that it stops its movement towards the act and conserves its potency. Therefore, in this work I intend to explain through this concept how the place of the poem is constructed in the book Notas para un seminario sobre Foucault (2018) (2018) by the Peruvian poet Mario Montalbetti. By establishing this construction, it is possible to read the negativity of the poems as a suspension and exposition of the language itself that is represented through textual features. Consequently, Notas says what he does not do, doing what he does not say. And so the place of the poem is in its own negation.
