El Museo Arqueológico de Crevillent. Una nueva realidad

Abstract

Se analiza el Museo Arqueológico Municipal de Crevillent en el marco de la gestión del patrimonio local, aunque incluyendo la etapa anterior a su creación en 1989, esencial para entender el papel del Museo en la arqueología alicantina a lo largo de estos años. Se presenta igualmente el nuevo proyecto museográfico, vinculado a la ampliación de la Casa del Parque, con la cueva vivienda trasera, y la incorporación del nuevo edificio anexo. A nivel territorial, el principal foco de interés se sitúa en el proyecto Peña Negra/Herna, cuyo objetivo global es la creación de un parque arqueológico que, en colaboración con el Museo Arqueológico Municipal, vertebre una apuesta clara por la divulgación y la educación patrimonial en plena Sierra de Crevillent.

The Museo Arqueológico Municipal of Crevillent is analyzed within the framework of the local heritage management. Nevertheless, it includes the stage previous to its creation in 1989, which was essential to understand the role of the Museum in the archaeology of Alicante throughout these years. The new museum project is equally represented, linked to the extension of the «Casa del Parque», with rear dwelling cave, and the incorporation of the new annexed building. At a territorial level, the main focus of interest is placed at the project of Peña Negra/Herna. Its global target is the creation of an archaeological park that, in collaboration with the Museo Arqueológico Municipal, structures a clear commitment with the heritage education and divulgation in the middle of Sierra de Crevillent.
