Orígenes del arte feminista español: de 1960 a 1970

Abstract

Con el objetivo de exponer los orígenes del arte feminista en España, contextualizando la situación de las artistas de los años sesenta y setenta marcadas por los roles de género y el sometimiento heteropatriarcal sostenidos por el tardofranquismo y la transición, sin dejar de analizar la permeabilidad de dicha temática en el desarrollo de los discursos expositivos desde los sesenta hasta la actualidad, planteo un análisis comparativo entre el arte feminista español y el americano. Articulo el relato en torno a las temáticas de mayor relevancia, visibilizando la denuncia de la discriminación femenina y la crítica a la hegemonía del sistema cultural patriarcal ejercida por las artistas feministas de la época. Construyo el núcleo informativo sirviéndome de una metodología biográfica, sociológica, iconográfica y de barrido bibliográfico con el fin de revisar la historiografía desde el género como categoría de análisis y esclarecer el papel de las mujeres en el arte.

With the aim of exposing the origins of feminist art in Spain, contextualizing the situation of the artists of the sixties and seventies marked by gender roles and heteropatriarchal subjugation sustained by late Francoism and transition, while continuing to analyze the permeability of this theme in the development of expository discourses from the sixties to the present day, proposed a comparative analysis between Spanish and American feminist art. I write the story about the most relevant themes, making visible the denunciation of female discrimination and the criticism of the hegemony of the patriarchal cultural system exercised by feminist artists of the time. I build the information nucleus using a biographical, sociological, iconographic and biographic scanning methodology in order to review historiography from the genre as a category of analysis and clarify the role of women in art.
